Near Sodankylä, there is a lake Orajärvi and near that there is a rise in the landscape. A small hill, named Oratunturi lies in some forested area just to the east. It is a small drive from the Observatory and Tähtelä, and then a short walk from the roadside up along a snow-mobile track and then cross country to the hill top.
It certainly makes for a nice afternoon out... assuming the weather is okay.
