KAIRA site panorama

Here's a nice photograph to end the week on. It is a wide-field view of the site, looking northwest towards Norway. It was taken as the weather started to clear on 8th June 2011 and shows that much of the site has been levelled off. Click on the picture to see the full-resolution version. You have to admit that this is the most spectacular LOFAR site ever, right?

Have a nice weekend! (KAIRA will continue work over the weekend so, as always, there'll still be web log posts). Next week will also be very busy, with the ground works moving into the second stage. Add to that the exciting 'I'm a Scientist' event, and its going to be very busy!
