However, the other night I was woken by snoring. Deep snoring. As I lay there cursing whoever it was in the room next to mine and being amazed at the volume of the noise, there was a strange clanging noise too. That sounded odd. It also sounded like it was coming from outside.
So I got up and peered out the window. There, right outside, was a reindeer dozing off. So... that's what the snoring was! So I fetched my camera and took a picture through the blinds.
Not happy with the view, I then raised up the blinds to take another shot and realised that it wasn't just the one. In fact, a sizeable group of the creatures had decided to camp outside my window for the night.

Although I say 'night', the sun is still up as we are still in midnight sun season. I guess the reindeer still need to find somewhere to have a 'little-bit-of-a-lie-down' and decided the corner of the building where I was staying seemed like as good a place as any.
So, I went back to bed and put the pillow over my head.
And this was the one night I was hoping for a bit of sleep too!
*sigh*
